The National Institute of Statistics of Mozambique would like to inform you that, as part of the World Statistics Day celebrations in Mozambique, we will carry out the following activities:

1) Publication of a Commemorative Poster on the institutional website and official social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, and X), with a printed A4 version displayed in the main elevator and other internal circulation points. The content will include: the date of celebration (October 20, 2025); the World Statistics Day 2025 theme; a message highlighting the importance of official statistics and the commitment to the Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics; and visual elements with the identity of INE and the United Nations.

2) Preparation of a Press Release to publicize the celebration of World Statistics Day in Mozambique, highlighting: the date and theme defined by the United Nations; INE's commitment to the quality and independence of official statistics; ongoing preparations for the 2027 Population Census; and INE's role in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the production of reliable data. These actions aim to strengthen institutional visibility and reaffirm INE's commitment to producing reliable, high-quality official statistics, in line with the Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics and international standards of statistical production.
