Celebration of World Statistics Day 2025 by Bahrain Statistical Society (BSS).

Bahrain Statistical Society (BSS) is planning a celebration for World Statistics Day (WSD) 2025.

The celebration will take the form of a forum, where invited speakers will highlight datasets and statistics available to everyone, in line with the slogan of WSD 2025.

The main objectives of the celebration are to:

• Promote Awareness: Spread the word about World Statistics Day 2025. • Encourage Exchange: Facilitate the sharing of valuable datasets and statistics among participants.

The Third Ministerial Conference on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics in Asia and the Pacific will be held from 24 to 26 June 2025, at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok, Thailand. The Third Ministerial Conference will (a) celebrate the achievements of the CRVS Decade; (b) identify areas where further work is needed to achieve goals and targets of the 2014 Ministerial Declaration and the Regional Action Framework and the 2021 Ministerial Declaration; (c) formally extend the Decade to align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; and (d) identify key actions and enhance commitment to ensure inclusive and resilient civil registration and vital statistics systems as a foundation for legal identity for all.
