Armstat celebrates World Statistics Day 2025.


On 20 October 2025, the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia (Armstat) is organizing a special event “Quality Statistics and Data for Everyone” to celebrate World Statistics Day, established by the United Nations Statistical Commission in 2010.

The aim of the event is to promote and communicate the value of official statistics, and to raise awareness of the UN Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics and the European Statistics Code of Practice, which ensure public trust through professional independence, objectivity, commitment to quality, statistical confidentiality, and best international statistical practice.

This event will contribute to strengthening Armstat's leadership and coordinating role in the national data ecosystem, as well as partnerships with the public and private sectors, civil society, academia, and other data stakeholders.

On the occasion of World Statistics Day, a press release will be published.

The Third Ministerial Conference on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics in Asia and the Pacific will be held from 24 to 26 June 2025, at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok, Thailand.
